Getting Connected

Over the years, HealthInfoNet has connected hundreds of facilities across the state.

Onboarding is made simple through a streamlined and straightforward process.

Step 1: Sign a Participant Agreement
The established joint contract will govern the connection between HealthInfoNet and your organization, including applicable fees.

Step 2: Gain access to the Clinical Portal
HealthInfoNet works with each facility to establish secure access to our Clinical Portal and provides training as needed.

Step 3: Submit data to the HIE (optional)
HealthInfoNet connects with each facility and its electronic health record system (EHR) vendor to securely and accurately receive data from its different record-keeping systems (e.g., registration, lab, radiology, etc.).

Step 4: Integrate the HIE into Your Facility’s Workflows
Whether your facility is a view-only (i.e., you have access to the Clinical Portal but do not share data with the HIE) or a bi-directional (i.e., you have access to the Clinical Portal and share data with the HIE) participant, begin to integrate the HIE into your operational workflows.

We have connected to the majority of EHR systems used across the state...

… And we are always open to connecting to more!

As we connect to sites across the state, our data warehouse is expanding to incorporate new data sources and use cases — from clinical and claims data to social determinants of health and more.
