Nona previously served on the Board from 2006-2014 and served as Chair, Secretary and At-Large Officer.

Nona O. Boyink retired from her position as Senior Vice President of MaineGeneral Health and President of MaineGeneral Community Care (f/k/a HealthReach Network), MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Long Term Care, and MaineGeneral Retirement Community in September 2016. These subsidiary corporations of MaineGeneral Health provide home health and hospice care; mental health and substance abuse services; long term care and assisted living services; Alzheimer’s care; and a retirement living community. Ms. Boyink has also overseen all inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services within the system. She has had over 40 years of experience in health care administration and was in her current position with MaineGeneral Health since 2001.
Ms. Boyink has a Bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and a Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina.
Ms. Boyink has been and remains active in professional and community activities. She is a member of The Bingham Program Advisory Committee, the Governor’s Advisory Council on Health Systems Development, and the United Way of Kennebec Valley. She has served as the Chair of the Board of several professional and community organizations including the Maine Ambulatory Care Coalition, the National Rural Health Association, the HomeCare and Hospice Alliance of Maine, the Maine Development Foundation, and Maine Dartmouth Family Practice Residency.
Ms. Boyink and her husband, Doug, are both active in their communities. They reside in Mt. Vernon and have two adult children.
