Heather Nugent joins HealthInfoNet’s Customer Care team with a passion for healthcare customer service and quality improvement. Most recently, she worked as a Federal Benefits Advocate for Patient Matters, a company contracted through Central Maine Medical Center to assist patients in understanding and receiving the appropriate programs to help them and their families meet their healthcare needs.
At HealthInfoNet, Heather serves as a Client Services Analyst, performing a myriad of help desk functions to support our Clinical Portal end users and overseeing daily operations of our Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) software. “It’s exciting to serve in a role where my two primary functions are so critical to what we do,” says Heather. “My help desk function allows our end users to search for their patients’ health records, and my EMPI function helps those records be as complete and accurate as possible.”
