Date/Time: June 24, 2020; 12-1PM ET

Presenter: Scott Paradis, Project & QA Coordinator

Intended Audience: HealthInfoNet Ambassadors, Help Desk & Auditor Data Users

Description: HealthInfoNet operates Maine’s statewide health information exchange (HIE), a secure and standardized electronic system where healthcare providers can share important patient information for care coordination and treatment purposes. This educational training will provide an overview of the HealthInfoNet Clinical Portal’s Help Desk and Auditor user role responsibilities. Help Desk and Auditor user roles are important functions within participating organizations, as they provide self-service functionality to authorized end users to support the ongoing sustainability and operations of their Clinical Portal service. While Help Desk users are able to request new users’ access to the Clinical Portal on behalf of their organization and are empowered to provide general account maintenance and troubleshooting support to those users, Auditor users are given access to general medical and sensitive information audit reports that are especially of interest to organizations’ security officer and security support staff roles.
